Drop Off Location
All Shoestring rental cars must be returned to our Christchurch Airport base. Sorry, no one way hires or relocations.

Payment
Must be made in full for the full term of your hire on taking delivery of your Shoestring Rental vehicle. Most major credit cards, travellers cheques or cash will be accepted.

Refundable Bond
A $2000 bond is required to cover the standard excess. We do this by taking your credit card details until the safe return of the car. (This is NOT put through, just kept on hold).
The standard excess can be reduced down to $250 for an extra $20 per day.

Drivers Licence
Hirers must hold a current full NZ or overseas licence.

Fuel
This is the hirers responsibility. Should be returned with the same amount of fuel as at delivery. If this is not done, a surcharge of $20 above the cost of the fuel will be charged.

Agreement
All rentals are subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. Management reserves the right to terminate or refuse a hire at any time. Conditions and charges may be subject to change from time to time.
